At the center of this tragedy are two dedicated service members who were fulfilling their duties to safeguard the nation. Currently in critical condition following the attack, these individuals exemplify commitment and bravery. Medical teams have performed surgeries in an effort to save their lives, and their families are receiving continuous support during this difficult time.
Our hearts go out to Sarah Beckram, a 20-year-old member of the West Virginia National Guard, and Andrew Wolf, aged 24, also serving in the Guard. Both were in Washington, D.C., to contribute to the safety and security of the nation’s capital. Their service underscores the profound sacrifice made by military personnel—even during times of national celebration, they stand vigilant.
