A Disturbing Incident Near Farragut West Station
On the eve of Thanksgiving, a violent and targeted attack shocked the northwest section of Washington, D.C. Around 2:15 PM, near the busy intersection of 17th and I Streets, two uniformed guardsmen were ambushed in what authorities describe as a brazen, intentional assault. The incident took place close to the Farragut West Metro Station, an area frequented by commuters and residents alike.
