The fire was localized primarily to the A-wing—the left side of an H-shaped building—significantly reducing the risk of it spreading throughout the entire structure. The fire department managed to contain it within this section, preventing further damage to other parts of the building.
Importantly, fire crews accessed the building from all sides, not just the side where the fire was initially detected. This strategic approach allowed them to confine and extinguish the flames in other wings and corners, demonstrating thoroughness in their firefighting efforts. By doing so, they mitigated the risk of a larger, more destructive blaze.
