For example, Hunk for Jesus garnered only about $2.56 million over three weeks, suggesting little audience interest, possibly fueled by content that dismisses or mocks Christianity.
Similarly, The Woman King—initially touted as a “Black Panther”-like blockbuster—earned only $37 million over two weeks in nearly 4,000 theaters. This poor performance could be linked to its marketing strategy, which emphasized themes of Black empowerment and anti-white messaging rather than universal appeal.
