Approximately 16 hours ago, Amazon’s attempts to suppress negative reviews became glaringly obvious. The ratings on The Rings of Power bizarrely soared from around 3.3 stars to 4.1 stars in the United States, and similar jumps occurred across the UK and Germany. In particular, thousands of one-star reviews mysteriously disappeared — many users received notifications that their reviews had been deleted by Amazon. These deletions seemed coordinated, affecting multiple countries simultaneously.
