Part 2/8:
Initially, Amazon disabled reviews on their website for a week after the show's premiere. When reviews reappeared, they seemed skewed toward the positive, with the show maintaining a high rating—approximately 4.1 stars out of 5 based on nearly 12,000 reviews. Notably, very few reviews were one-star, constituting only about 3% of the total, indicating a possible suppression of negative feedback.
However, recent developments suggest a more calculated suppression effort. Content creators like The Quartering and Twitter users reported that Amazon had systematically deleted thousands of one-star reviews within a 24-hour window. This action significantly decreased the visible negative reviews, artificially inflating the show's ratings and creating a misleading picture of public opinion.
