Interestingly, the prosecution of criticism as outright racism has been challenged by contrasting data. For example, Black Panther (2018), featuring a predominantly Black cast, garnered a similarly large volume of comments but did not attract comparable backlash in terms of dislikes. The Wakanda Forever trailer boasts about 1.4 million upvotes to 141,000 downvotes, a ratio that casts doubt on the narrative that all dissent is racist.
