One such review from Germany explicitly condemned the show's departure from Tolkien’s original lore and accused the writers of pushing political agendas under the guise of wokeism.
This pattern suggests that Amazon is actively controlling which opinions are visible to the public, favoring more positive or lukewarm responses while silencing harsher criticism. The strategy appears designed to craft a perceived consensus that the show is well-received, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
