After the debut of episodes one and two on Prime Video, a wave of negative feedback emerged, primarily centered around changes to J.R.R. Tolkien’s original lore. Rather than addressing legitimate concerns about storytelling, faithfulness, or production quality, the streaming giant and associated actors have shifted the narrative, claiming that opposition is rooted in racism.
