Part 2/8:
While Marvel Studios used Comic-Con to showcase a flurry of announcements, updates, and tantalizing hints about their upcoming phases, DC appeared to be drastically less enthusiastic. Marvel's lineup ranged from new phases of the MCU to fresh casting news, generating excitement and anticipation. Meanwhile, DC only focused on two projects—Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods—and only briefly touched on their 2022 offerings. Major titles slated for 2023, such as Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and The Flash, were conspicuously absent from the panel, creating a sense of neglect and silence about these high-profile projects.
