Since the early 2000s, X-Men movies have attracted massive audiences and established the franchise as a cultural phenomenon.
Replacing this well-established brand could arguably diminish its cultural impact. The name X-Men encapsulates a legacy of heroism, diversity, and rebellion, and many fans fear that renaming could dilute this legacy, turning a powerful franchise into just another generic label.
