According to her own words shared in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ridley experienced a stark reality: difficulty finding work post-Skywalker.
"It was so, so sad to finish Star Wars," she said. "It was such a huge chapter, and when the film was released, I was like, 'Oh my God.' It was a huge moment... the past few months of not having much, I felt like I processed the last five years."
