Critical Reception and Its Impact
While Ghost of Tsushima initially received high praise—holding a score around 9.2—review bombs from disgruntled fans still periodically appear. However, these efforts have had little impact on its overall reputation or sales trajectory. Comparatively, TLOU2 experienced a massive first-weekend surge due to hype and marketing but failed to sustain that interest once the initial excitement faded.
Despite some negative review bombings, Ghost of Tsushima continues to be well-received, owing partly to its enjoyable gameplay, immersive world, and positive word of mouth. The upcoming multiplayer DLC and other updates are anticipated to keep players engaged for the foreseeable future.
