Halo Infinite’s Long-Term Strategy: No Halo 7 Expected
Shortly after the gameplay presentation, 343 Industries released a statement via IGN emphasizing a significant shift in strategy. According to studio head Chris Lee, Halo Infinite is envisioned as the central hub for Halo's narrative and content for at least the next ten years. Rather than releasing numbered sequels, the developers intend to expand Halo Infinite through continuous updates, downloadable content (DLC), and various improvements.
