Upon arrival, it was clear that the pythons—referred to colloquially as "the boys"—were engaged in a seemingly intense interaction. The observer remarked, "You can tell by the way that they're wrapping their heads around each other," and mentioned that the behavior was consistent with mating rather than aggression. A key distinction was made: "When it's mating, it's not that aggressive," suggesting that the snakes were in a natural courtship rather than a confrontation.
