The fundamental conflict, which should be about morality, power, and truth, is undermined by characters who are more interested in petty squabbles, ego stroking, and half-baked plans. Instead of acting like guardians of peace or agents of chaos, they frequently act like buffoons, making the entire premise less engaging.
The whole concept of the Jedi “believing peace is a lie” and the Sith’s quest for power is lost in translation when characters act more like caricatures than wise warriors.
