Reva exhibits exaggerated, stiff movements that appear to be rehearsed and superficial. She seems to be trying to project “villainy,” but it comes off as unnatural. Conversely, the Joker’s body language is unpredictable yet controlled, every gesture carefully crafted to reflect chaos beneath the surface calm. Even when physically restrained, his movements suggest he is still in control—and that unpredictability heightens his menace.
The Presence That Commands Scenes
One of the defining differences between the two characters is the way they command the screen. Reva, in her big scene, comes across as unconvincing—more like a villainous caricature than a real threat. She lacks the aura of danger or charisma necessary to demand attention.
