Part 12/12:
The future of Marvel’s cinematic universe depends on a willingness to take risks and depart from the formulaic approach. Audiences crave stories that surprise, characters with genuine growth, and tonal diversity that can range from dark and gritty to heartfelt and humorous without blending into one indistinguishable whole.
As the MCU continues to expand, it must rediscover its creative courage. Otherwise, Martin Scorsese's critique will only become more accurate: the Marvel movies risk becoming elaborate theme park attractions that, while entertaining, lack the depth and surprise that make cinema truly memorable. The challenge now is to move beyond safe formulas and craft stories that resonate on a deeper emotional level—stories that truly push the boundaries of blockbuster filmmaking.
