Effective pacing isn't about being fast or slow per se but about finding the right rhythm. If a story moves too slowly, viewers may feel bored or frustrated, waiting for something meaningful to happen, resulting in a sense that the story is crawling. On the other hand, if a film is overly hurried, quick scene transitions and rapid plot developments can overwhelm the audience, leaving them confused and unable to process what they're witnessing.
