In the live-action, Scar's voice performance, while capable, is hampered by the lack of visual exaggeration. The photorealistic design stops the character from exhibiting theatrical and expressive movements, rendering him less distinctive. As a result, Scar’s cunning and evilness become less palpable, reducing the character’s overall impact.
