The episode's main highlight—or perhaps its most discussed feature—is the series' approach to lightsaber duels. Executive producer Leslie Hedlin publicly aimed to craft a lightsaber fight rivaling the legendary duel between Darth Maul and Qui-Gon Jinn from The Phantom Menace. Paradoxically, her intention clashed with the execution, which fell short of the classic battles that define Star Wars for many fans.
