In "Star Wars," the motivation to train as a Jedi is usually rooted in personal tragedy, ideological conviction, or a sense of duty. Luke Skywalker’s motivation is straightforward: his family’s destruction and the betrayal by the Empire pushed him towards the Jedi Path. Conversely, the series offers no such compelling motivation for Sabine, who, at approximately 30 years old, is shown as a novice with minimal recollection of her past training. This makes her decision to pursue Jedi training feel forced and unearned.
