Similarly, Malaysia has attempted to regulate but still struggles with unregulated online sales and growing addiction rates, which have surged by over 32% in recent years.
In Singapore and Australia, complete bans on recreational vaping have been put into place, restricting sale and possession to pharmacies with medical prescriptions, and heavily regulating flavorings and marketing strategies. France and the Netherlands have implemented bans on disposable vapes and flavored liquids, aiming to curb appeal to youth.
