Part 7/9:
The final chapter of Suz’s adventure takes her to the water, where she learns wing foiling — an emerging water sport combining elements of surfing, windsurfing, and hydrofoiling. Guided by Vincent from Singapore Kiteboarding, Suz is introduced to the wing, a sail-like device that captures wind power to propel her forward on a hydrofoil board floating above the water.
Despite initial struggles and the uncontrollable gusts, Suz quickly picks up basic techniques: angling the wing to harness wind, maintaining surfboard stance, and balancing on the foil. With each attempt, she manages to stand and glide momentarily over the water, feeling a rush akin to flying. Her perseverance pays off, and even in the face of developing challenges, she remains determined.
