Frustration Over Justice and Government Obstruction
A key focus of the dialogue was the prolonged delay in achieving justice. Many survivors expressed frustration and heartbreak over the fact that so many years have passed without holding those responsible accountable. This delay, they argued, is partly fueled by government obstruction and secrecy, particularly by powerful figures and institutions.
One speaker emphasized, “We do not care how powerful, how connected, or what political party those who have victimized and caused pain are. We will seek justice.” This statement signifies a relentless commitment to uncovering the truth, regardless of the entanglements of the elite or political shields.
