A significant portion of the population deals with some form of mental health condition. Many are receiving the necessary treatment through medication and therapy, effectively managing their conditions. Nevertheless, a smaller subset of individuals remain at high risk due to their inability or unwillingness to seek help. These individuals may engage in behaviors that threaten themselves or others—such as attacking innocent victims, including subway passengers, or engaging in self-harm—that strain emergency services and community resources.
