Healthcare System Challenges
Myanmar’s healthcare system is under severe strain. Over 400 hospitals have been affected, with many either damaged or destroyed. Around 178 hospitals are severely damaged, making them inaccessible or unsafe for patients and staff. As a result, many patients are treated outdoors, posing a risk for further health complications.
