Part 3/10:
Inspired by the rising sea levels and climate change impacts observed across coastal communities, the project aims to develop a resilient, self-sufficient floating farm. The team drew on extensive research, traveling to various coastal regions to understand local climate effects and traditional practices. Their findings highlighted the importance of choosing hardy, sustainable marine species such as cattail (list doda), oysters, seaweed, sea grapes, and resilient vegetables like radishes and strawberries, including those tolerant of saltwater.
