A central part of Ukraine’s strategic planning involves upgrading its military forces through both strategic financing and the procurement of advanced weaponry. The "PEACE" program, which allows Ukraine to purchase American weapons using funds pooled from European partners, has been instrumental in this effort. Currently, the program allocates around $1.5 billion annually, with plans to increase contributions to about $1.5 to 2 billion per year.
