Engaging in work that develops skills, such as working on astronaut suits or designing figurines, provides hope and a sense of purpose. These activities are also incentivized through small rewards and recognition from staff.
The Path to Reconciliation
Many inmates harbor hopes of reuniting with their families and seeking redemption. For some, their incarceration is seen as a necessary step for self-restoration, albeit accompanied by pain, regret, and the desire for a second chance.
