Nathia’s story is as inspiring as her performances. Growing up in Singapore, she faced numerous challenges before making her way to the West End. Her early aspirations in acting and singing were met with rejection, including multiple failed auditions for top drama schools. Despite these setbacks, she remained persistent, applying to the Anglo-Chinese Junior College and later Seoul's top musical theatre school, Mount Viw.
Her father played a significant role in nurturing her talent, acting as her vocal coach. With no formal training but abundant experience, he helped shape her distinctive voice. Despite early disappointments—like a record company’s indifference to her demo CD and the heartbreak of not securing a pop career—Nathia’s passion for performing never waned.
