He emphasized that the key to this achievement was the scale of Tesla's data collection, their neural net advancements, and their existing fleet of millions of capable vehicles already on the road. Musk detailed that the initial rollout would involve a small, highly optimized model that would allow Tesla to validate safety and performance rapidly, followed by a larger, more capable model arriving early next year, around February.
