Leaving WFAN for Fox Sports seemed to be the next logical step for Carton, and he describes the offer from Fox as "too good to refuse," leading to his departure from the station. He initially thought he would remain there for the rest of his professional life. Yet, fate had other plans. His tenure with Fox was not as long-lasting as he had hoped, and when the opportunity for a return to WFAN arose, he seized it.
