Various protective gear and clothing are tested for their efficacy against UV rays. Experts measure materials under a solar simulator to assess their Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF). Results are promising: high-UPF fabrics, sun patches, sunglasses, umbrellas, and even jackets can block up to 99-100% of UVA and UVB radiation.
