Part 2/11:
On a typical hot day, temperatures can reach around 30°C (86°F), but the actual experience can feel twice as hot due to the lack of breeze and pervasive sun exposure. The absence of wind results in an oppressive atmosphere, where heat gets trapped in dense urban areas, magnifying discomfort.
A notable observation is that green spaces and low-density areas are significantly cooler compared to high-rise, high-density neighborhoods. For instance, in one of Singapore's greener suburbs, surrounding nature and spacious layout helped keep temperatures nearly 10°C lower than more urbanized regions.
