Typically living in ground burrows, Norway rats are often found in sewer systems and underground structures. Their presence can be monitored using specialized video inspection tools called videoscopes, which reveal their burrow patterns beneath the surface.
Roof Rats
In contrast, roof rats are excellent climbers, often infiltrating false ceilings and high structures. Their agility allows them to ascend vertical surfaces, making them harder to detect. These rats often hide in ceilings, making traditional detection methods less effective.
