Using the same foundation, eyeshadow, and lip color—one set costing nearly S$52 and the other just S$10—the results were astonishing. After applying both, most viewers and testers couldn’t distinguish between the two, especially when photographed under professional lighting conditions.
Even after wearing the makeup throughout an entire day, testers found minimal differences in durability and appearance. The powder foundation, in particular, performed similarly, prompting a reconsideration of whether consumers need to pay premium prices for certain beauty products.
