Most believe that the PSLE has fortified their academic fundamentals and prepared them for secondary school challenges. Parents and experts alike recognize that reducing nagging and increasing encouragement could bridge the gap between academic achievement and mental health. Effective communication, less over-reliance on assessment books, and reframing success as holistic—beyond grades—are recommended strategies.
