Assessing the Damage and Planning the Restoration
The team started with a thorough assessment of the damage. One of the visible issues was bubbling paint, an indicator of underlying moisture or damage in the walls. The scope of work included scraping off all damaged paint, decontaminating walls and furniture, and preparing for repainting. The plan also involved replacing flooring where necessary, as certain areas had become severely compromised.
