A recent lawsuit brought by the legal organization America First Legal alleges that Disney has violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. According to the complaint, Disney's internal policies and publicly posted inclusion standards suggest that race, religion, sex, and national origin are often the primary criteria for hiring, promotion, and training decisions. The complaint claims Disney is engaging in unlawful discrimination against white Americans, Christians, and Jews—groups allegedly deprioritized or demoted due to their race, religion, or citizenship status.
