Part 6/9:
Looking back, Marvel’s former dominance in the film industry allowed it to operate with a level of confidence that is no longer present. In 2016, Marvel’s "Captain America: Civil War" was so successful that it compelled Warner Bros. to move "Batman v Superman" out of the same release window to avoid direct competition, underscoring Marvel’s then-clout.
Today, however, Marvel appears to be more cautious—or perhaps hesitant—due to the declining reception of recent projects and the loss of audience enthusiasm. The studio is struggling with maintaining consistent quality, with some films criticized for studio interference and a reluctance to stay the course on creative visions, as was evident with "Suicide Squad" or "Justice League."
