In a candid interview with the London Evening Standard, Denver expressed her frustrations about the limited number of roles available to women close to her age. At 28, she noted that while there is a plethora of roles for older women, opportunities for women in their late twenties and early thirties remain scarce. According to her, Hollywood currently favors giving prominent parts to older women as a way to combat ageism and promote inclusivity.
