Willy’s account provides a harrowing description of his ordeal. He was caught in the violent current, unable to immediately reach his wife or children. The water, likened to a serpent, swept him away, causing him to gasp for breath. As he was submerged, he observed the surroundings: coconut trees and debris, mangled and swirling in the tumultuous water. At one point, Willy surfaced and saw himself in the middle of the sea, holding onto his belongings, including a musical instrument piece he managed to grab.
