This rapid pace of technological change challenges longstanding assumptions about modern warfare's predictability. Historically, warfare technologies remained relatively steady for decades—guns, tanks, ships, and the jet, introduced late in World War II, being notable exceptions. However, in Ukraine, more technological evolution has occurred in just three years than in the entire second half of the 20th century.
