Achieving academic success marked a significant moment in his life. It symbolized the power he held to change his narrative and regain control over his future. He realized that he had the tools within himself to propel forward, lifting himself out of despair and into a space of resilience and determination.
This epiphany motivated him to serve as a student leader, leading initiatives to support youth mental health. His experiences fueled his passion for activism and community service, especially through his involvement with Catalyst LA, a youth mental health collective dedicated to empowering young people in Singapore.
