The Mets have made their first notable move since the offseason began—signing reliever Luke Weaver to a two-year deal. Weaver, a former Yankee reliever and sometimes closer, brings role flexibility, a fastball touching 95-96 mph with a ride, and a competent changeup. Although he's not an elite, top-tier reliever, Weaver is considered a solid, low-cost addition that enhances the Mets' bullpen depth.
