Reconnecting with Roots: Australia and the Earthkeepers Farm
A significant chapter of his journey involved reconnecting with Paul and Judith, the pioneers of his farming life, at the Earthkeepers farm in Australia. In 2013, he learned foundational skills of self-sufficiency on their farm—a process that deeply influenced his trajectory as an urban farmer. Unfortunately, in 2020, a devastating bushfire destroyed their entire farm, consuming livestock, infrastructure, and forest land.
