Part 2/12:
George Michael and Andrew Ridgley first crossed paths when they were just 12 years old at Bushy Me School near Watford, England. Their friendship was rooted in shared interests, and by 1979, they had already begun experimenting with music, forming their first band, The Executive. This early project included Andrew’s brother Paul, David Austin, and Andrew Lever. Their initial performances were modest — a church gig and a demo tape featuring the theme song “Rude Boy.”
