One poignant memory involved a rehearsal at Aston Villa, where everyone gathered for what could be described as a “who's who” of rock and metal icons. The moment he entered in a wheelchair, surrounded by friends and fans, was a quiet but powerful one—everyone was mindful not to intrude on his dignity. When he finally took his place on stage, the energy shifted; despite the wheelchair, he was still very much himself—engaged, spirited, and in control.
Another cherished memory was his unexpected decision to attend an afterparty, defying expectations that he wouldn’t come out. Though initially thought unlikely, he surprised everyone by participating, demonstrating his unyielding spirit and desire to enjoy life even amidst physical adversity.
