One of the most compelling points made is that AI is not solely shaped by developers or governments but primarily by human behavior and societal norms. The AI’s "behavior" is learned from observing us—our interactions, values, and attitudes. If humans propagate negativity—rudeness, violence, hostility—AI will adopt these traits, mimicking the worst aspects of our society.
Conversely, if society promotes empathy, kindness, and cooperation, AI may learn to emulate these qualities and serve as a reflection of humanity’s best self. This shift requires conscious effort from individuals and communities to demonstrate the values we wish AI to embody.
